Running
An AI assistant that can actually run the house
Self-hosted connectors that let Claude read and operate home automation, calendars, and the home network, each one behind its own sign-in and access policy. The goal is asking for something in plain English and having it done, not opening five apps.

Shipped
A travel mode for the whole house
One switch before a trip: the house settles into away mode, reminders line up, and a packing sheet builds itself from where I'm going and for how long.
-
Planning
A floor plan that lights up
A hand-drawn map of the house for the home dashboard, where each room glows when its lights are on. The design is picked and the drawing comes next.

This page
Hand-written HTML and CSS on a small server at home. No JavaScript, no trackers, nothing to accept.

Planning
A family photo archive that can't be lost
Decades of scanned family photos, kept in sync across small storage boxes in three different homes, so no single dead drive or bad day takes them with it.
About
I run a homelab as a hobby. I started with very little networking experience and learn by building, breaking, and writing down what I fixed. Most of it runs quietly on one small box in a closet.
